But the original Levi's also had a lifetime gauarantee, the guy was so sure of how tough they were.

That person has never had their knees saturated with hog shit.

I'm fairly confident that I speak for most of us when I say: neither have we.

I pretty much get muddy dog paws and the occasional slop from a carried coffee cup down my jeans.

I hope to never have hog shit on me again. Or urine. Or afterbirth. Or blood. Or decomp smells. Actually, I don't mind the blood so much, because I'll clean and cook a hog, no sweat. The rest of that stuff is really nasty though.

You just described my typical day. What's fun is sometimes you'll get all of those at the same time

You're a vet though, you're allowed, ney expected, to get messy.

I think you meant "neigh" :)

As a vet I doubt he's ever been farted upon by a 40 lb hog that's been dead for three days in the Florida sun. I should make a post about the glamour of hog-farming in the American South.

No, but in the summer I deal with 3 day dead 1400lb cows exploding blood and excrement into my face during necropsy for lightning strike claims. That's when you really hope it was lightning and not anthrax
AddedAnd pulling a rotting calf out bone by bone is something you don't get used to

And now I know to not apply at cattle farms. You win. Though I did catch some horrific bubonic swine plague while I was there; I was sick for 10 days. During Hurricane Irma.

Yeah that'd make a hurricane just so much more fun

Oh....it was awful. I was out doing farm work with a pocketful of paper towels because the place is so big there's no way I could make it to a toilet in time. Every time I pooped near a hog pen (in the woods) they would come over to watch. Threw up for 9 or 10 days straight. Got weak towards the end....couldn't hold food down and I need energy to work, right? It sucked.
